Facility Closures for essential work: We are working with Westminster City Council to undertake some important decontamination works in the plant room at Porchester. In order to facilitate these works it will require the plant room to be closed for a period of four weeks. This will mean there will be no heating or hot water to the site and will also mean we cannot heat the swimming pools or some elements of the Spa.
As a result we will need to close both the Main Pool and the Teaching Pool, as well as certain elements of the Spa for a four week period, beginning Thursday 16th May.
During this time we will continue to operate the Gym and Studios and throughout the duration of the works you will be able to use the toilet facilities and have a cool shower. For anyone wishing to use the Spa, you will be able to use the relaxation area, both steam rooms, the sauna and the plunge pool during this period, again with access to toilet facilities and cool showers.
After this period of four weeks, the Teaching Pool and Spa will re-open, and the hot water will be back up and running. The Main Pool, however, will remain closed for approximately a further ten weeks whilst the Council undertake some critical roof and ceiling repairs above and in the Main Pool hall.
Over the next few weeks our team will also be liaising with all our swim community bookings, swim scheme parents and swim customers to offer solutions.
