A major refurbishment project will begin on 19th January 2026 to modernise Verulamium Spa, making it a tranquil space for Recovery and Rejuvenation.
The £400k project will bring significant upgrades to:
- • Spa Changing Rooms
- • Heat & Water experience
- • Refurbished Sauna
- • Replacement Heated Beds
Facility Improvements
The refurbishment project will deliver improved facilities for customers, including:
- • New Ice and Salt rooms
- • Installation of new Infrared benches
- • Upgrading the Monsoon showers to a new sensory experience
- • Redecoration throughout
What to expect during works:
Temporary service changes will be necessary while the work takes place. At times the Spa will be closed to allow these works to be completed.
The works will commence on Monday 19th January 2026 and is expected to complete by spring 2026.
